Duties and responsibilities


    Social Media

  • Respond to social media messages (Houzz, Angie's List, Yelp).
  • Produce and maintain marketing materials for use in business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan, curate, and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly social media posts on different channels.
  • Lead tracking of website performance to manage leads.

Website

  • Maintain website - create new pages, respond & approve blog comments, create new web forms, update theme & plugins, proof new blog articles & add link code.
  • Reviews & Feedback - Update reviews on website and add to master review spreadsheet, monitor client feedback and forward.
  • Submit blog outline to writer (with keywords and links).

   Campaign launches

  • Build campaigns to launch new services or into new locations.
  • Manage communications around community partnerships with brands and internal/external figures and develop timely responses as needed.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across a variety of channels by collaborating with team and external influencers.

     SEO/Paid Search Vendor Management

  • Primary point of contact with vendor who manages SEO & Paid Search
  • Research blog keywords.
  • Facebook Ads - Upload new ads, maintain existing ads by optimizing with new ads.
  • Submit blog outline to writer (with keywords and links).
  • Reply to inbound guest post inquiries, setup/screen out new opportunities.
  • Review and track data to understand trends, demographics, and patterns.


  Past client and community partner interaction

  • Facilitate a standardized and customized system for client communications and other materials to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners to assist with the growth and development of the company.
  • Represent the company at local community events, expos, etc.
  • Conduct research to stay current on industry, regional, and market sector trends, competitive landscape, and prospective clients. Research should include social, demographic, cultural, and economic trends.
  • Manage external press agency relations and lead strategic communication plans for campaigns and new company initiatives
  • Contribute to the overall development and growth of the company

 

Requirements

 

  • Education – HS diploma or GED equivalent required, College Degree Preferred
  • Specialized Knowledge – Command of Wordpress, Social Media Platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., SEO, Google Paid Search, Adobe Suite & MS Office
  • Experience – 5 or more years in marketing including building campaigns for launching new products or services. Extensive hands-on experience with SEO and Paid Search and deep understanding of social media platforms. Construction or remodeling company experience a plus.
  • Communicate clearly, promptly, and effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Organization – Ability to commit to and meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop metrics and tracking tools to measure success
  • Solution oriented. Self-starter with ability to seek out opportunities, create an action plan, and see it through.
